Why use WebP
Smaller images mean less data to download, which can help on slow connections. Most current browsers can display WebP. If you must support an older system or a form that only accepts JPG or PNG, keep that format.
Convert and compare
Open Convert to WebP, add your image and download the result. Compare it with the original before using it. For the opposite direction, use Convert to JPG or Convert to PNG.
Reduce the size further
If the file is still large, use Resize image for smaller dimensions or Compress image to aim for a size limit. Resize to the largest size the page actually displays.
